A BSP is a company certified by Meta to provide access to the WhatsApp Business API to other businesses. Being a BSP means Beejek can host WhatsApp Business Accounts for merchants, enable message sending at scale, and ensure compliance with Meta's policies.

If you want messages to come from your own branded number, yes — you'll need a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA). Beejek can connect to your existing WABA or help you create a new one during the Embedded Signup flow.

Merchants who haven't yet connected their own WABA send from Beejek's shared number. Your business name still appears in messages, but as 'via Beejek'. Connecting your own WABA gives you full brand control.

The green verified tick on a WhatsApp Business Profile is granted by Meta to businesses that pass business verification. Beejek guides you through the verification process during WABA setup. Verification typically takes 1–3 business days.

Messages sent before your WABA was activated went from Beejek's shared number. They remain in those chat threads on the customer's phone. New messages after activation come from your number — customers may notice the sender change for the first few messages.

Meta requires a dedicated business number for a WhatsApp Business Account — it cannot be a number already in use as a personal WhatsApp. If your business uses a personal number, you'd need to use a separate SIM. Beejek's team can guide you through the options.

Beejek uses AES-256-GCM encryption to store your WABA access token. It is never stored in plain text and is only decrypted in memory when a message needs to be sent. Your token is not accessible to any Beejek staff member.

If Meta deactivates your WABA for policy violations, Beejek will pause all outbound messaging for your account and notify you immediately. You would need to resolve the issue directly with Meta through your Meta Business Suite.
